As a professional, attitude says more about you than any word you could ever utter. Attitude takes on many forms. Your attitude toward work, your attitude toward your life, your attitude towards those you associate with (e.g. friends, family, co-workers), and perhaps most important of all, your attitude towards yourself.
I am often asked how to deal with closed minded individuals and potential customers who are just nasty to deal with when approached. I’m not talking about someone just saying no. That is tough enough when it happens over and over and over again. But, I am talking about Nasty. Bottom line up front, it is just part of sales and is a complete mental game.
Making sense of good business goals is an active part of the planning that goes into any business that’s being contemplated by a person who may be thinking of becoming an entrepreneur. It’s great that the entrepreneurial spirit exists in most people, but without having some solid goals in mind, they may not be able to turn into the new age Bill Gates or Martha Stewart they hope to be, to use them as examples.
Heres a little piece of philosophy that will probably make a lot of sense, especially if youre scientifically-minded. If you dont change a behavior, that behavior is going to continue bringing the same results. Its simple! Its true!
